Residence Permit

If you are from the United States, you do not need a visa to enter the country. But to stay for over 90 days, you will need a residence permit.

Documents Needed
*All hard-copies

ST1 Form and Acceptance Letter

You will receive both from your exchange institution. Have the ST1 form already filled

Receipt for Making Case Number

To make a case number for your residency permit you would need to pay. You must print the receipt right away as it does not save.

Official Transcripts from Home University

Can be an unofficial copy of your transcript. The Visa Application Center in SF made copies of my official transcript

Receipt of Payment for the Danish Consulate

You will also need to pay for processing your application at the Danish Consulate in New York

Colored Copy of Every Page of Passport

A copy of every single page in your passport. Copies need to be in color

Bank Statement

Since you won't be paying tuition to the exchange university, a bank statement is needed to verify you have enough funds to sustain yourself
